To make finding your career counselor an easier and more effective search process than before, we have enhanced the search engine used on our site.

To use it, ask yourself the following questions:

1. Where would I like to meet with the counselor? Near your workplace? Near your home? Near both locations?
Counselors may be located by the Practice Location(s), designated by the State and County/Borough.

Note: Most counselors will provide counseling services, in whole or in part, by telephone or other “distance counseling” techniques. If you are interested in a counselor who does not have a Practice Location near you, feel free to contact them anyway.

2. What issues do you need help with? Many counselors focus on certain areas of interest or specialization; others may work as generalists.
