Karen was interviewed for the City Critic column in the Sunday New York Times. The article entitled “The Job of Finding a New Job” appeared on the front page of the Metro Section on November 14, 2009 (www.nytimes.com/2009/11/15/nyregion/15critic.html).
Her article, Writing Powerful Resumes, has been featured in trade publications. She has also contributed resumes to Expert Resumes for Baby Boomers, JIST Publications, 2006.
Karen holds a Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and Certificate in Adult Career Planning and Development, both from New York University. She is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor under the Professional Career Counselor category. Karen is active in her profession and is a member of the Career Development Specialists Network, the American Counseling Association, and the Career Counselors Consortium, where she serves on the Board of Directors.
