Counselor Profile: Dr. Judith T. Evans has more than 15 years of experience assisting senior executives and professionals enhance their careers as well helping them find new positions. For those who are unsure of their career direction, she provides insightful career assessments. Judith maintains a small private practice. Clients praise her for combining solid business judgment with a creative, caring manner.
New business ventures is one of her specialities, and she works with many individuals who are considering entrepreneurial opportunities. Currently she teaches a popular workshop, "How to be a Successful Consultant" at the Center for Career, Education and Life Planning at New York University, where she has taught self-employment courses for over 10 years. Additional experience includes working with members of the Executive MBA programs at the University of New Haven and Stern School at New York University.
She has a strong understanding of the corporate, non-profit and consulting organizations drawn from working with hundreds of clients over the years from a broad array of industries. This includes: banking and financial services, insurance, media and publishing, health and beauty, and technology. Her clients include professionals in the law, medicine and education.
Judith is a Senior Vice President at a leading international consulting firm. Earlier, she held corporate positions at Ciba-Geigy (now Novartis) and Cosmair. She earned a masters and doctorate in developmental psychology from Harvard University. Judith is a founding member of the Career Counselors Consortium, and has served two terms as a board member.
